This home was lovingly restored in 2011. All new systems, finishes, and a third floor master suite were added. Details of the project are available for you to explore below. Additional photos of the completed work are in a slideshow at the bottom of the page.
Original Form
Built around 1900 this house was a true diamond in the rough. Actually it might have been still a lump of coal. It had been used as a rental for many years and was in serious need of a complete renovation. It boasted 1 bathroom, and 2 bedrooms, and that's about it. The center chimney made floor space challenging, both upstairs and down. Our solution was a frame-off, gut renovation. Check out some of the photos of the process, and the result, below.
Once a pretty staircase . . .
Horsehair plaster, covered w/ drywall in places, and a cellulose insulation job that varied widely.

3rd bedroom or dining? . . .
Small, cramped spaces, and wild colors provided by tenants rounded out the space.
